Yoga Facilitator: Madlyn Ray-Jones (1pm only)
Madlyn facilitates inclusive friendly spaces and helps people to feel better. Her classes include breathing practices, meditation, and deep relaxation. Her intention is to support her students to feel calm and mindful. She has experience with all ages and abilities. Her style includes vinyasa flow, slow flow, restorative, yin, chair, pregnancy, and postnatal yoga.
Live music: Emilija Karaliute
Emilija is a professional classical and folk musician who began studying the kanklės in Lithuania from an early age, developing a deep connection to the instrument and its cultural roots. She has been playing the kanklės for 15 years and has been awarded the title of the National Laureate of Lithuania twice. The kanklės is the Lithuanian national instrument, which remains relatively unknown to many. Emilija is passionate about sharing the kanklės with new audiences, promoting the diversity of Lithuanian culture. Emilija has now become a regular performer in the UK. Her performances are characterised by skilful integration of the traditional folk instrument, the kanklės, into diverse genres, including classical, pop, and folk music.
Sound Bath & Himalayan singing bowls: Marco Florio
Marco has achieved a Practitioner Level Diploma in Sound Therapy at the British Academy of Sound Therapy in 2011, and has attended many sound-related workshops such as Mongolian Khoomii (Overtone singing) with the UK most experienced Khoomii overtone singer Michael Ormiston, voice and Laughter workshop with LARAAJI and many more. Marco has been interested in working with sound in many ways since a very young age playing musical instruments in bands, making his own electronic computer based projects, being a DJ, and a radio broadcaster.
