Q: What exactly is sound healing?

A: Sound can be used as a holistic therapy that involves placing instruments on and around your body. Vibration is a very effective way to help target and release stagnation and tension in your physical, but also mental and emotional bodies.

Q: What are the wellbeing benefits of sound healing?

A: Sound therapy is ideal for those looking to relax, reduce stress, and improve their overall well-being. Sound helps improve blood circulation and digestion. It promotes muscle relaxation,  lowers the heart rate and balances both hemispheres of the brain. This practice can also help those struggling with insomnia.

Q: How does 1-to-1 sound healing differ from a regular sound bath?

A: In a 1-to-1 sound session vibration goes deeper into the body, targeting areas of stagnation and going into the root of the ailment.

In a group environment we promote overall relaxation and some tension can be eased, whereas in an individual session, we work on the body as well as creating a soundscape around you. We work with tuning forks activating circulation, drum and Tibetan bowl massages, and also playing a Chinese wind gong around your physical body.

Q: What's the best way to get started?

A: Simply get in touch to book your first session! Sound therapy is suitable for most people. In some cases of pregnancy, heart conditions or pacemakers/metal plates this treatment is not advised, but do not hesitate to contact the therapist.

The treatment is tailored to meet your individual needs. It’s a great way to reconnect with your body and it teaches you to tune in and listen.
